Membership Provisions Return to Service

Would institute a cap of one year (365 days) on the amount of time an elected official, or officer, has to elect membership into the state retirement system. After that timeframe the individual will no longer be eligible for membership in the retirement system unless a bona fide termination of State service takes place, and they then later return to state service in a position eligible for membership.
