Director Matthew Knittel addressed the Society of Municipal Analysts to provide an update on Pennsylvania’s fiscal outlook, demographics and current budget status. 

Pursuant to section 604-B(a)(8) of the Administrative Code of 1929, the Independent Fiscal Office has prepared a cost analysis of the collective bargaining agreements between the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Doctors Alliance (PDA).

The Commonwealth collected $2.7 billion in General Fund revenues for September, an increase of $92.4 million (3.5%) compared to September 2016. Fiscal year-to-date revenues were $6.9 billion, an increase of $318.6 million (4.8%) from the prior year.
